I’m Featured as a Fan in Vince Flynn’s Jan’24 Newsletter

This blog’s readers may remember my annual reading tradition here at Aquamarine Flavours which I’ve been following since 2017. It’s called the #AquaFlavoursBingeReads where I binge-read an entire book series from start to finish. This is usually one-author-one-character series and I give myself a target number of days to complete the set.

In past editions I have read the Scot Harvath series by Brad ThorHarry Potter series by J K RowlingTracy Crosswhite Series by Robert Dugoni, and The Gray Man Series by Mark Greaney, among others. You can find more details on my annual binge-reads in my Instagram Story Highlights and the Reading Traditions menu at the top of this page.

33-56. Mitch RappFor 2023, I chose the Mitch Rapp Series by Vince Flynn. This popped up on my radar thanks to TheRealBookSpy, and then I discovered my brother had read nearly all his books published in the 2000s, mostly because our favourite bookseller at Midlands Bookshop in New Delhi had gotten him hooked to them.

Well, long story short, I read all the books in the series last year and posted a review along with a bookish craft-pairing of a CCTV camera.

I have also been ardently following the Vince Flynn Instagram account and am signed up to the newsletter so I can keep keep abreast of any publishing news in the world of Mitch Rapp, specifically with regards to the release of the next book in the series.

Mitch Rapp PaperbacksI received the January Newsletter in my inbox last week and noticed a picture of a familiar stack of books attached to their Fan of the Month feature – the same stack of all Vince Flynn novels I’d pulled out from our home library for my binge-read. The newsletter also includes my note on how I was introduced to Vince Flynn’s books and why I decided to read them.

You can read the post on the Vince Flynn website here. And, if you’re big on reading spy/counter espionage thrillers, you should definitely consider reading this series with what is considered to be one of the greatest characters written in the genre.
